Lambeth residents who have furniture and other pre-loved household items they want to dispose of can now take advantage of a new collection service that is helping homeless people.
The council and Emmaus, the charity based in West Norwood which works to end homelessness, have teamed up to collect relevant reusable items for free. These items are collected, restored, and sold in the charities shops.
