Lambeth Council wants views on what the borough is like as a place to grow older and how we can all work to make Lambeth a better place in which to age well. The Council is working with engagement specialists Kaizen to hear from residents.
As members of the UK Network of Age-Friendly Communities, Lambeth Council will work together with partners, such as Age UK Lambeth, the NHS and residents, to develop a local approach to becoming an age-friendly borough, building on the World Health Organisation’s Age Friendly Cities framework. Focusing on the key areas of community life that help to support ageing well, we will seek to create social and built environments that promote healthy and active later lives for all residents.
