Norwood Road
Thames Water are due to repair the longstanding water leak outside B&Q. We reported this leak before the resurfacing works were undertaken in January 2023 but unfortunately the repair could not be prioritised by Thames Water due to all the other urgent winter repairs to broken water mains.   

We have suggested this repair could be done at the same as the Norwood Road resurfacing works (see our news story here) in order to reduce local disruption but the new road surface is now fast degrading and delaying this repair until early August may not be an option. We will report further when we have further information.

Chatsworth Way
Works to replace lead water pipes works in Chatsworth Way are currently being undertaken on the behalf of Thames Water. These will run until 7 July 2023 with working hours of 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday and 8am – 1pm on Saturdays. Thames Water have distributed two information letters to residents.

We were able to help ensure that the contractor, Morrisons Water Services, clears all machinery and materials away from the Norwood Road end of Chatsworth Way at the end of the works on the Saturday so West Norwood Feast can set up the Artisans Hub on Sunday 2 July 2023.
