Last night, Thursday 25 May 2023, saw the very welcome grand opening of the Queen of the South at the former White Hart at Tulse Hill (on the corner with Station Rise). 

We fought with others to protect the pub from being lost to housing, by objecting to a planning application in September 2019 to convert the upper floors to flats. We feared this "Trojan Horse" planning application would lead inevitably to the complete loss of a pub which was built in 1868. The Queen of the South is a very welcome addition to the vibrant Tulse Hill night time scene.
