West Norwood Cemetery Open Day - part of ChooSE27 Festival

11am-3pm
ChooSE27 is a new website connecting those who have work and event space to those who need places to work or to hire for an event in West Norwood and Tulse Hill. Set up by our local business improvement district organisation, Station to Station BID, this initiative is being launched with the ChooSE27 Festival running between 12 and 29 May, and the cemetery is taking part! ... click on headline for more info

Through the current Heritage Lottery project, the cemetery will have three new spaces available for public hire. One space is the restored St Stephens Chapel in the Greek Enclosure, and the other two will be in the refurbished and extended Lodge building at the main entrance - this is to become the new Visitors Centre.

Though these spaces are not yet available (St Stephens will be in the autumn this year, and the new Visitors Centre will open in spring 2024), WNC are still taking the opportunity to tell the community about these spaces - and indeed about the whole Lottery project and what it is achieving - with an Open Day full of free events and activities.

Keep checking back here for more details - some of the activities will need pre-booking (please see links below), though everything will be completely free!
If you have any queries, especially on accessibility, please get in touch with Kim Hart on khart@lambeth.gov.uk
