Lambeth Council is planning to introduce a series of Controlled Parking Zones throughout West Norwood and Gipsy Hill over a period running to September 2025.

A map showing the proposed zones is set out below, and the proposed timetable is here. All the documents can be accessed here on the Council's website.

There will be both informal and statutory consultation on each CPZ. We will share these details as soon as we have them.

The proposed West Norwood East CPZ includes West Norwood town centre, and will no doubt build on the controlled parking review implemented in the autumn (see our last story here), to which we contributed. We aim to work with Council officers, our ward councillors and Station to Station BID to ensure the planned zones do not impinge on the shopper parking provided under that review, and also to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to comment as part of both consultation processes.
