Lambeth Council has announced an independent review to help tackle the housing crisis by suggesting ways the Council can speed up the delivery of affordable housing. The review, which is being chaired by independent peer Lord Bob Kerslake, will have a particular focus on the delivery of new homes at social rent which are genuinely affordable for local families on the housing waiting list.
The review may well have implications for the Council's extensive plans for sites 18 and 19. Views are required by 7 August 2022.
