It is good to hear that Clement Ogbonnaya is moving ahead with his plans to convert the White Hart to "The Queen of the South". He aims to open in time for this year's football World Cup.

The pub will be operated  by The Village People Group, decorated with a lively theme, and include a games room and karaoke booth. There will be live events at night, and spaces for co-working and community meet-ups during the day.

The Queen of the South will be a sister pub to the existing Prince of Peckham pub.
