The Lambeth Together Care Partnership Board is recruiting two new Patient and Public Voice members to ensure that local people are involved at the highest level in decisions about health and care in Lambeth.
They are looking for people who are interested in health and care and who are linked to local networks - this could be a patient group, a tenant association, a PTA, anything that keeps you connected with a range of other people. Younger adults, disabled people, people from LGBTQ+ communities and people from Black and multi ethnic communities are particularly sought to help the Board in its ambition to reflect Lambeth communities.
The role is voluntary – an opportunity to be an active citizen, contributing to improvements in health and in people’s experience of health and care services. Training and development are offered and agreed expenses will be covered.
The closing date is 24 July to submit an expression of interest. Before that they are holding an information session w/c 18 July and you can go and observe the next Board meeting on 20 July if you want to check out what's involved before sending in a form. More info is on the Lambeth Together website here.
