Lambetrh Council is encouraging people from Black communities to give blood in support of the Bonded by Blood: A Mother’s Story campaign and help the 15,000 people in the UK living with Sickle Cell.
The campaign aims to get more black blood donors and is in memory of Richard Okorogheye, who had sickle cell disorder and tragically died in April this year.
