Further to our previous stories on the planned reorganisation of the local ward boundaries, we have heard that the Local Government Boundary Commission for England has brought forward its reporting date for the publication of its recommendations from early October to Tuesday 14 September 2021.

We assume the recommendations will be published here on the LGBCE website.  We last reported on this issue here, and will publish detils of the LGBCE final report as soon as we can. The new boundaries are expected to apply from the May 2022 Lambeth Council elections.

The entirely separate Parliamentary boundaries consultation is ongoing; see our earlier story here. The Boundary Commission for England is expected to report its secondary recommendations for London in early 2022 having considered the views submitted under the summer 2021 consultation exercise.
