Popup COVID-19 vaccination clinic at South London Islamic Centre

Message from Streatham GPs working with South London Islamic Centre – pop-up vaccine clinic at South London Islamic Centre Saturday 10 April

Dear friends of all faiths and none,

We respectfully invite you to work together with us in improving the Covid-19 vaccination rates amongst our local community in Lambeth. The local BAME population in particular have the lowest uptake of the vaccine, and as community leaders we want to support our local NHS colleagues to vaccinate more people; this is the best protection against the severe effects of Covid-19.

On Saturday 10 April 2021 (1:45pm - 5:00pm), local GPs will be running a further pop-up vaccination clinic at South London Islamic Centre (Streatham Mosque) with the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. This follows the success of our first popup clinic on Saturday 13 March 2021.

  • The address is 8 Mitcham Lane, Streatham, London, SW16 6NN.
  • No appointment necessary – simply walk-in to the Mosque between 1.45pm to 5.00pm on Saturday

  • We have attached a poster {above}, and more information including clarification regarding common rumours and myths about the Covid-19 vaccine can be found here: https://www.streathamgp.co.uk/covid-slic/
