In total Lambeth will see 61 street parties happening during the Jubilee Weekend, from 2 June to 5 June, with half happening on the Sunday. Lambeth Council’s Events and Highways teams have been working with residents to ensure the impact of road closures are minimised.
Also, the following public events are being held:
- The South Bank Centre are putting on performances and parties from Wednesday 1 to Sunday 5 June
- Brockwell Park, between Herne Hill and Tulse Hill, will be hosting Jubilation on Thursday 2 June, a ticketed event, which is free for accompanied under-10s, and is being headlined by British musical legends Madness.
