The section of Rosendale Road by the junction with Park Hall Road and Robson Road has been a labyrinth of road works since May and has been turned into a cul-de-sac. But the wonderful shops in that section of the road are still open for business and welcome your custom.

We have an excellent dry cleaners and the only toyshop for miles around. Wigwam is a treasure trove of the things you need to keep small people entertained through Halloween and on to Christmas. Stock up now.

We have several good eateries. Ema's sells excellent Turkish bistro food and great coffee, Cafe Salva will make you an Italian sandwich, there is pizza at Cellar 103 and you can eat authentic Indian food, both veg and non-veg at our famous Heritage restaurant. Nice cocktails too.

You can get your hair cut, your teeth fixed, get a newspaper and general foodstuffs, alcohol and chocolate at the newsagent and Scotch meats, a family-run business, serves everything you need to prepare the best family meal ever. There are all sorts of vegetarian and vegan foods at Organic. 

All this in a ten-minute walk from the Norwood Road (through the cemetery if you want a green walk ) or a  short bus ride on the newly designed all-electric 322.
