The Power Of Festival, in partnership with leading camera equipment company Nikon and creative street advertising agency Jack, have launched a nationwide competition to find emerging black British photography talent, who capture what the Power Of Black Identity represents to them.

The winner, who will be named as the Rising Star, will receive an incredible package to help them propel their craft including a Nikon Z Series Camera and Lens(es) of their choice (up to a value of a £6000), an outdoor showcase of their photography to a London audience on a Jack arts billboard in September 2021, and their winning images shown as part of a physical exhibition during the two day festival, alongside some of the UK’s eminent black photographers.

British based black photographers with a passion for storytelling should head over to the Power Of Festival website to enter now. A celebration of black identity and its impact on British culture (and beyond), Power of Festival will be held at Lambeth Town Hall on 12 & 13 June 2021. Competition closes 9 May.
