This year’s Lambeth Readers and Writers Festival runs from Monday 30 April to Monday 4 June with a month-long programme of inspirational literary events. Highlights include:
- Saturday 12 May (10am) - Patrice Lawrence at Clapham Library (young people)
- Thursday 17 May (7pm) - Dorothy Koomson at Streatham Library
- Wednesday 23 May (7pm) - Ben Okri at Brixton Library
- Friday 25 May (7pm) - X-rated: Women’s poets night at Clapham Library
- Monday 29 May (7pm) - Jacek Dehnel and Clare Mulley at Clapham Library
- Saturday 2 June (7:30pm) - North Sea Radio Orchestra at Clapham Library
There are only two events locally:
- Sunday 6 May (2:30pm) – Go, Girls! at West Norwood Library
- Friday 1 June (11am-12noon) – Beach Ball and the Bucket: children’s theatre workshop at Upper Norwood Library
