Fest Norwood, Wonder and the Norwood Forum

West Norwood’s brand new fringe style Arts Festival ‘Fest Norwood’ starts on 3 August for 10 (hopefully) glorious sunny days (3 – 12 August 2018).

Inspired by the return of the South London Theatre to its Heritage Lottery funded refurbished home in the Old Fire Station, the Fest Norwood programme features a huge variety of events and activities, many of them free, and all of them showcasing the very best that inspires our West Norwood community – and everyone is welcome.

It’s not all arty!
The Norwood Forum has sponsored 12 festival events as part of its ‘Connecting the Community’ campaign (#connectingthecommunity), specifically those under the Wonder community project (see more info. below). All are free (except House of Bamboo – dance the night away for just £5 entry on the door!). From a special film spectacular by the West Norwood Free Film Festival at Volcano Coffee Works Cafe, to daily yoga at Portico Gallery, to a showcase Walking for Health lunchtime event, there will surely be something you would love to investigate.

Please visit the Fest Norwood website for the full programme details: www.festnorwood.com.

What is Wonder?
WONDER
is a health and wellbeing community project promoting creative and physical activities - both serious and fun. Supporting the people that want to run the events and the people who want to take part.

WONDER is a project led by local not-for-profit and community enabler Portico Gallery, local mental health charity SRA, the West Norwood/Tulse Hill BID: Station to Station and the volunteer powered monthly street market festival West Norwood FEAST.
