A petition has ben set up by concerned parents of children at St. Julian's School and local residents for safer pedestrian crossings on Leigham Court Road, Streatham.
The petitioners highlight that the road is plagued by heavy traffic and speeding. The central stretch between Julian's Farm Road and St Peter's Church is particularly bad, with no safe crossing place for a distance of 0.2 miles.
The petition seeks an additional traffic island near Rockhampton Road, and for the traffic island at St Peter's Church to be made larger and safer.
Please sign here if you agree this would be a benefit to make this dangerous stretch of road safer for everyone!
