There will be three political question time sessions across our Dulwich & West Norwood parliamentary constituency where all the MP candidates will answer questions on their policies.
The Lambeth Climate Emergency Co-operative has organised a hustings specifically on tackling the climate and ecological crisis. They state: "Since July, polls have seen the climate overtake the economy in importance to voters, with almost half of 18-24 year olds saying it ranked among their top three issues facing the country, whilst 71% of the UK public agreed that climate change is more important than Brexit. Locally, the challenge includes air pollution, housing and energy and the threat from a rising Thames. Globally, the IPCC has reported that emissions need to begin falling by 2020 to keep the temperature rise below 1.5 C, while the IMF wrote of the "potentially infinite costs of unmitigated climate change".
A daytime hustings event organised by the East Dulwich Community Centre.
Send your questions in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org, and there will be time for questions from the floor too. Organised by Herne Hill Forum, with the support of Norwood Forum, Dulwich Society, Herne Hill Society and other local groups..
