UPDATE: Enhanced Covid-19 Testing in West Norwood. Information provided direct from Lambeth Council:
Working with the Department of Health and Social care, Lambeth has conducted surge testing for Covid-19 in parts of West Norwood and a small section of Streatham following the detection of the South African variant in the area.
Over the last week and a half just under 5,000 people have been tested either with a home testing kit or at one of the mobile testing sites. Residents and those working in the post codes within the enhanced testing area who have yet to be tested can still book a test at either one of the mobile testing sites at Leigham Court Road car park or Waylett Place car park (both units are open everyday 8am-3pm) using the link www.lambeth.gov.uk/enhancedtesting. These sites will be operational until Wednesday 24 February when the operation concludes.
Norwood Forum receives information direct from the South East Clinical Commissioning Group (SECCG), NHS England, Lambeth Health Team, Lambeth Council, and Healthwatch Lambeth, and only publishes verified information.
