Following the announcement the Lambeth Country Show will be cancelled in 2026 after fifty-one years, Lambeth Council has published a planning application for Brockwell Live to hold five days of commercial events in Brockwell Park next year.

Full planning permission is being sought after Lambeth Council lost a High Court ruling against the campaign group Protect Brockwell Park in May 2025 over the length of permitted development in Brockwell Park. This planning application allows for public comment and representations both in favour and against the application can be made here until Monday 5 January 2026.
