Lambeth Council is inviting residents to nominate their local heroes for the Civic Awards 2026. The awards aim to recognise the incredible work that Lambeth’s community does to help others. Nominations for the seven awards categories open today 18 December and close at one minute to midnight on 25 January 2026.

 Once the application deadline is closed, all entries will be considered for shortlisting by a panel of community partners and Lambeth Council Leaders. The seven categories are:

• Mayor’s Award for Volunteer & Community Champion
• Climate and Green Spaces Award
• Safer Lambeth Award
• Arts and Cultural Heritage Award
• Social Enterprise Award
• Health & Wellbeing Award
• Empowering Young People Award
