Covid vaccination programme briefing session for voluntary and community groups and organisations

The NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group has arranged a briefing session on the Covid-19 vaccination programme for groups and organisations working directly with people in the first priority groups for the vaccine.

This is to ensure that staff or volunteers who are running advice lines, providing information services or who are likely to be in conversation with members of the public over the next two to three weeks have some key facts to hand and know where to find the most up to date information that they can share or signpost people to regarding the Covid-19 vaccine.

The session is open to all vcs groups across Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich and all are welcome but it may be especially useful for organisations and groups working with the current priority groups, ie, older people -  including those from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic populations and from socioeconomically deprived areas. It will be held on Friday 18 December 2020 (3-4pm), via MS Teams.

The presenters will be
-  Angela Bhan, Bromley Borough Director and Consultant in Public Health, NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group
-  Ruth Hutt, Director of Public Health for Lambeth

We can provide the link to local groups for joining the meeting on Microsoft Teams; write to info@norwoodforum.org

Also, you should find answers to questions you may have on the new Covid-19 vaccines page.
