From Sunday 4 September 2022 there is a welcome increase in trains travelling through Crystal Palace, Gipsy Hill and West Norwood to both London Bridge and London Victoria. Services return to four trains per hour up to 8pm (Monday-Friday) rather than the two per hour that has applied since the end of lockdown.
So not a complete return to our pre-Covid scheduled service but a vast improvement. There are other changes to digest; e.g. the direct West Croydon to Crystal Palace/Gipsy Hill/West Norwood will not run after 8pm (services will be via Sydenham or Balham).

Southern Railway states "Following a sustained period with significantly fewer people using the railway, our customer numbers have now plateaued at around seventy percent of pre-pandemic levels". You can read more about the new train service announcement here on the Southern Railway website.
