Creative Programming & Production training course for young adults in Lambeth

The training course is organised by 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning and the Walcott Foundation and will run 9 - 24 February 2023:

"Are you a budding creative producer or programmer looking to kick start your career in the industry? Have you always wondered what it takes, or wanted to get your idea for an event off the ground? Are you 18-30 and based in Lambeth? Join us for our next series of workshops on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 - 24 Feb!

The programme will be 3 weeks long and will consist of a series of workshops delivered by industry professionals, with accompanying creative employability skills sessions looking at things like CVs, portfolio, cover letters, project proposals and more. You can access our wonderful workspace and facilities or come in for one to one sessions for as long as you like after the programme.

During the programme you will be introduced to key elements of the sector and will work on a project, producing work to develop your skills and portfolio. Working with an experienced creative, you will be given tips and support as you to get to grips with the process of creating an amazing project and learn more about the opportunities that are out there for you.

We offer one-to-one support as you make applications and land that job, project funding or contract. Whether you’d like to update your CV, have your portfolio reviewed, write a cover letter, funding application or project proposal - we got you! We’ll be running group and individual sessions to get you ready to take the next step.

PLUS £500 grants available to support your transition into a job. Cover for childcare and travel costs also available.
