You're invited! Norwood Green Day - Annual Community Review & AGM

Welcome everyone to a fun day focused on all things green in our community:
Green spaces, green energy, green jobs and training, clean air and recycling.

At West Norwood Library & Picturehouse, we'll have stalls from a range of environmental groups working on things like solar energy, home retrofit, community gardens and clean air, friends of the parks, and eco-friendly traders.
There'll be free family-friendly activities with contests and creative fun for all - and we will also be hosting talks on renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean air, recycling and green jobs and training opportunities.

eco textiles workshop

Brockwell Hall are running a four week Eco textiles workshop at Brockwell Hall. Learn how to create natural dyes from plants and use them to create printed textiles with artist Zoe Burt.

Free Living Archive Group training at Brockwell Hall

An eight week course on how to conduct oral history interviews and capture local histories to be included in Brockwell Hall’s Living Archive.

Open Act Afterschool Drama Club at Brockwell Hall

Designed for 11–14-year-olds by a local Lambeth Drama teacher, Open Act Drama Club offers a space each week where young people can find their voice.

12 Choirs supports mental health and wellbeing by partnering community groups for people aged 50+ with primary schools across London to create 12 intergenerational choirs.

Funded Art and Photography Courses - Starting May 2026

This brilliant course is designed to be hands-on and beginner-friendly. It covers the essentials of photography, led by expert tutors and it takes place at Photofusion, in the heart of Brixton. Cameras will be provided, or you can take your own. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY; you are supported to learn from scratch.
