West Norwood Train Station is looking greener than ever thanks to a new drought-tolerant garden planted on Platform 2 by local community group Open Orchard.

Lambeth Council has opened applications for the lease of the café in Norwood Park.

Station to Station have been successful in applying for funding via Lambeth & the UK Shared Prosperity Funding to support Tulse Hill's nighttime economy. With this funding they are running a week long festival of free films, music and tours.

Lambeth is hosting a series of Remembrance Sunday events on 9 November with the Mayor of Lambeth and the Leader of Lambeth Council joining our communities to mark the day and ensure the sacrifices of those who served are never forgotten.

The day will start with a parade from Lambeth Town Hall to Windrush Square Brixton for a wreath laying. A public event being run in partnership with the Ministry of Defence and community partners will also be held in Windrush Square from 2pm at the African and Caribbean War Memorial.
