Tulse Hill (A204) Bus Priority: consultation

Lambeth Council has announced a project to seek to improve bus journey times and improve road safety along Tulse Hill from the Upper Tulse Hill/Trinity Rise junction on to the Tulse Hill gyratory (A205).

This work will be funded through Transport for London’s Bus Priority programme and views are sought now until 2 March 2026 on two proposed designs. They want to know how this will impact your bus journeys and other journeys such as walking, wheeling and cycling, how they could be improved, and what other improvements you would like to see. Take the online survey*.

This feedback will be used together with other data such as bus speeds, parking pressure and traffic counts to finalise designs for the corridor. This will be published alongside a decision report for the scheme.

The aims include:

  • Faster and more reliable bus journeys
  • Reduced traffic and improved air quality
  • Safer, healthier streets for walking, cycling, and public transport
  • Better access to local shops, services, and schools
