One – to – One Befriending Service – Looking for Volunteer Befrienders

We are starting a one-to-one befriending service, offering weekly company and support to people are lonely or isolated.

What is involved? Meet up with someone in the local community who is feeling lonely or isolated once a week for a couple of hours
What you would do? Spend some time with the person to get to know each other while going for a walk or visiting a cafe. Listen, chat and share stories. You could even try a new activity together.

What are the benefits? Opportunity to meet new people and learn from each other by sharing experiences . Feel more connected to the local community. Training and ongoing support provided . Making someone's life better!
