Until Sunday, July 22, 2018
The 44th Lambeth Country Show will return to Brockwell Park this weekend on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July 2018 from 12noon to 8pm, though note that due to entrance checks last entry will be 6.30pm. The event has a unique line-up that celebrates the very best of the city and countryside. With over 150,000 people attending last year the show was one of the biggest free family festivals in the UK.
Popular areas such as the Main Arena and the newly named Brockwell Farm have been expanded and though the main funfair will not be there the children’s funfair and bouncy castle rides can still be found.
You can still expect all the attractions of a traditional country show including:
· an horticultural show
· sheep dog and owl displays
· home grown vegetable and flower competitions
· an abundance of craft and food stalls & an on site farm
Music is an essential element and on the Village Green there will be an eclectic mix of local talent playing acoustic folk, choir, soul and pop, along with steel orchestras and samba bands and on the Main Stage there will be the music closer to the urban Lambeth vibe.
