Jo Self is a renowned artist, her paintings of flowers and plants often influenced by her visits to India, including a residency in the Dalai Lama’s garden. Her new exhibition, ‘Indian Summer’, specially designed for the SLBI, will feature a range of giclee/pastel images of plants, including some ‘old favourites’ based on Water Lane, Brixton. Her paintings reflect the beautiful golden light of late summer, as well as using colours very influenced by those seen in India. This exhibition is sure to be a delight, and prints and postcards will also be available for sale – don’t miss it! Find out more Please note days and times – Thursdays only!
