Celebrate Wassail Day with this FREE London Wildlife Trust (LWT) open day, filled with activities. 

The local community are welcome to awaken the apple trees to ensure a good harvest of fruit in autumn in a traditional Wassailing event.

Activities on the day will include apple inspired crafts, bird feeders, warming bread on the fire (weather permitting), pinning toast to trees (this apparently helps with a good harvest) and more! 

There will be live music from local folk band Larkin' the Woods between 2pm and 3pm. Refreshments will also be available to purchase. 

We advise wearing wellies or sturdy footwear as the ground can get VERY muddy!

This event is free but donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.
