Join John Prideaux as he shares memories of cycle rides during the late 1950s and 1960s along the once-grand Crystal Palace Parade.

John will take us on a journey past surviving structures from the Crystal Palace era, including:

• The High Level Station and turntable
• The local fire station building
• The subway, and open reservoir
• The water tanks and Edward Milner’s house

Featuring nostalgic details on vintage street furniture, historic buses now in museums, and the annual construction exhibition, this talk offers a valuable insight into a grand thoroughfare for new, younger, and long-standing residents alike.
