This year’s open garden scheme has both pre-booked and on-line gardens. Where gardens are open, pre-booking is essential; pre-paid tickets will be available from Monday each week for all gardens open over the following ten days.

Locally, gardens at Becondale Road SE19, Lovelace Road SE21 and Norwood Park Road SE27 will be open for pre-booked visits. For visits further afield see: ngs.org.uk/

This gem of a garden has an all-white front and a family friendly back. The garden slopes gently upwards with curving borders, packed with an informal mix of roses, perennials and annuals. The garden is designed to be an easy to maintain oasis of calm at the end of a busy day. There are several smile-inducing features e.g. a dragon, the Cheshire cat and a stream. Lots of seating.
