mambista in the park: errol linton

Marvellous live and recorded music in the magical setting of Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses. BPCG is a wonderful space and with added Mambista it makes for a very special experience.

From a packed Glastonbury Acoustic Stage slot to featuring in BBC Two’s Arena documentary “Two Generations of the Blues (Blues South of the River)”, Errol is the real deal. He won the UK Blues Challenge in 2023, and his is the harmonica you hear tearing through “Lookout Man!” on Joe Bonamassa’s Grammy nominated album, “Royal Tea”, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studios. Not forgetting live sessions on Cerys Matthews’ BBC Radio 2 Blues Show as well as opening for everyone from Bo Diddley to Dr. John to The Blind Boys of Alabama.

Expect Chicago blues shot through with reggae swing, soulful harp, and a well-oiled band well-versed in rocking the house.
