Talk describing both the folklore & traditional uses of British and Irish plants and their importance, hosted by the South London Botanical Institute. Roy Vickery has been studying plant-lore since the 80’s and collecting their traditional uses and folklore. The talk will centre on those plants we can find when walking nearby and the fascinating facts and stories that these engender. Roy’s book Vickery’s Folk Flora was published last year.
