THIS GRANT SCHEME IS NOW CLOSED AS THE DEADLINE HAS PASSED
We're delighted to launch our 2024 Community Grant Scheme! Our funding scheme aims to enhance the wellbeing of people who live, work or study in our community - West Dulwich, St Martins, Knights Hill and Gipsy Hill wards – with grants of up to £300.
The Community Grant Scheme opens on Monday 14 October 2024 and closes at midnight on Monday 4 November 2024. We award funding for great ideas that help our community to thrive.
What kind of projects we can fund
At the October West Norwood Feast we asked the community what kind of projects they would like us to fund, and we list some of the ideas below, purely for inspiration:
- Community gardens
- Street parties
- Sports such as athletics, basketball, badminton and volleyball, a rollerball club
- Creative classes such as life drawing, drama, drumming
- Intergenerational activities that might include crafts, Ted Talks, creative writing
- Clothes swap/repair shop
- Wellbeing activities such as walking and yoga
- New Mums' lunch club
- Support for individuals facing mental health crises
- Live music
You can bring your own ideas to life though by contacting us and applying for a grant from Norwood Forum.
