Lambeth residents are invited to find out how our waste is recycled at the Western Riverside Waste Authority facility at Smugglers Way in Wandsworth. Please note there are some restrictions due to Health & Safety:

• No one under 18 is allowed in the building
• You must wear strong soled shoes or boots; no heels, sandals, slip-ons, ballet pumps etc
• As this is a working site, you must follow all instructions from your guide and not leave the group without prior agreement
• The machine hall is noisy, dusty and has lots of stairs. In particular, the machinery hall has many stairs and you must be able to climb stairs unaided to visit this part of the facility
• Anyone who is pregnant or has a pacemaker cannot visit the machinery hall
• Photography is welcome, but do not photograph staff members
