Norwood Forum’s transport campaign is about making it easier, safer and greener for everyone to move around our neighbourhood - whether you’re walking, cycling, taking the bus or using the train.
We are pushing for practical changes that make walking safer and more pleasant. We're asking Lambeth Council and TfL to:
- Add more safe and accessible crossing points
- Reduce pavement clutter, including poorly parked e-bikes
- Enforce speed limits and calm traffic
- Invest in greenery, such as planted areas and street trees
- We’re also calling for assurance that areas like West Norwood and Tulse Hill aren't left behind in transport planning, and that smaller improvements are delivered while long-term plans progress.
