If you are aged 50 to 74 and registered with a GP in Lambeth or Southwark, you will receive a letter informing you that a free bowel cancer testing kit will arrive by post within two weeks. The kit will include instructions on how to use it and return your sample. Ensure your postal address is up to date. If registered outside these areas, contact your GP for more information.
Your results will be sent to you and your GP. If no issues are found, you’ll get a new test kit every two years between ages 50 and 74. If further checks are needed, the
screening team will contact you.
