The ecology team at Southwark Council will be creating a wet woodmeadow in Belair Park. The scheme aims to enhance the local habitat and will include planting a mosaic of native scrub and trees, wild flowers and wetland planning. A new accessible public pathway will run through it to increase access to nature. Wildflower seeding and tree and scrub planting will start in autumn, going through to winter. There will be opportunities to get involved through volunteer sessions. Belair is owned by the Dulwich Estate.
