NHS South East London has advised that Hospital Consultants are striking from Thursday 24 – Friday 25 August 2023. This means that our hospitals will be under a lot of pressure again.

This weekend is also a bank holiday weekend.

Please follow this advice:

• Bank Holidays can affect the opening hours of local pharmacies. If you need pharmacy service over the bank holiday, please plan ahead if you can. See the guide to opening hours for pharmacies here.
• Only go to the Emergency Department (A&E) or call 999 for a life-threatening emergency or serious injury
• If you are unwell, contact your GP
• Outside GP hours, go to NHS 111 online
• For a mental health emergency go to NHS 111 online
• And you can also visit your local pharmacy for expert advice and medicines.
