Lambeth Libraries is one of 15 authorities to receive an award from the Green Libraries Grant Fund for a project running until the end of October. The project will show how an environmentally friendly lifestyle can also help save you money. 

The main launch event will be at West Norwood Library on 1 October 2022 from 2pm (was 17 & 24 September) with stalls from local environmental groups and causes. There will be clothes swap events at Durning, Brixton, Clapham and Tate South Lambeth Libraries and other activities planned are repair cafes, drop off points for old tech devices, loan of thermal imaging cameras, a seed bank, improved green spaces around our libraries, cycling and retrofit workshops, advice on recycling and avoiding food waste and a collection of books on how to be environmentally friendly and save money.
