The third annual Fest Norwood 2020: West Norwood Arts Festival will be held Sunday 9 to Saturday 15 August 2020. Whilst this year’s festival will be unlike the past two as many events will have to be held online, there is still a programme that includes some real world activities many of which focus on our wonderful community and local area including:
• a treasure hunt
• a community art trail
• a photography competition – My West Norwood Life
Some original short films have been shot specifically for the festival and there's also a promenade performance in the cemetery which includes everything from music, theatre, poetry to dance.
Online events include daily activities for kids, a theatrical make-up workshop suitable for both men and women, life drawing, a play reading event which is open to anyone who would like to have a go (or just watch) and an open mic night which will be coming live from the theatre.
All the activities are listed on the Fest Norwood website with a couple more special events yet to be announced! So keep an eye out for those and we hope to see you at some of our live and online events.
