Congratulations to our MP Helen Hayes on her promotion to Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office. The responsisbilites of this department include:

• advising the Prime Minister on developing and implementing government policy
• driving forward government business and implementation including chairing and deputy chairing Cabinet committees and implementation task forces
• overseeing devolution consequences of EU exit
• overseeing constitutional affairs and maintaining the integrity of the Union
• oversight of all Cabinet Office policies.

Her opposite number in government is Michael Gove.

Helen will continue her work with her constituents, as well as her new shadow responsibilities.
