Lambeth Council has announced its new borough plan - Lambeth 2030: Our Future. You can read the borough plan on their website now.
The plan sets out Lambeth’s bold ambitions and priorities for the next seven years. It outlines their commitment to everyone in Lambeth to:
- Strive to get the basics right
- Harness the abundance of local expertise, energy and passion in our design and decision-making
- Work together in partnership to ensure everybody in the borough is empowered to create Lambeth 2030
Lambeth 2030 sets three bold ambitions:
- To make neighbourhoods fit for the future
- To make Lambeth one of the safest boroughs in London
- To make Lambeth a place we can all call home
All of these are underpinned by the Council's new commitment to make Lambeth a borough of equity and justice. The Plan is a product of the conversations held with local people, and the Council says it wants to work with everyone to make the collective ambitions a reality.
