Stay home support: Covid-19 self-isolation support service

Lambeth Council has launched a comprehensive Covid-19 self-isolation support service, including payments of up to £500 for residents on low incomes who are told to stay at home.

The services aim to help Lambeth residents financially, practically and emotionally if they need to stay at home due to Covid-19. The package of help includes a Stay home support payment of up to £500 for people on low incomes who will lose earnings from self-isolating or caring for someone who needs to stay at home. This includes looking after children home from school or nursery due to staff shortages caused by the pandemic. The Stay home safely support service, delivered by Age UK Lambeth, will provide rapid practical and emotional support for people who need to self-isolate or stay at home – arranging help such as grocery delivery, dog walking or emotional support. The council will also find catered hotel stays for eligible residents who cannot self-isolate at home safely due to a lack of space or proximity to vulnerable members of their household.

Lambeth Council has prodcued a series of posters in different languages; please let us know if these might be helpful to you.
