Can you help? Our local food bank (Norwood and Brixton Foodbank) is desperately seeking new volunteers to help out in their warehouse in Streatham Hill (St Margaret's Church, Barcombe Avenue, SW2 3BH ).

 

Can you regularly offer just two hours a week (or more) to help with sorting donations as they come into the warehouse? Its a really easy, but rewarding job. You will work in a team, and, after a short bit of training, be helping to make sure donated food is in-date, sorted and stacked ready for packing into emergency food parcels.

 

Its a lovely, relaxed atmosphere at the warehouse, with lots of really friendly people volunteering each day. And most of all you wll be doing something incredibly useful for the community.
