Nature Vibezzz need help to research Knights Hill Wood and Tivoli Park

Nature Vibezzz has been awarded a grant from the National Heritage Lottery to create a Memories, Heritage and Community of Knights Hill Woods and Tivoli Park project and as part of the project they are looking to research the historic and natural heritage of the site and are looking for people to share their memories of Knights Hill Woods, Tivoli Park and the local area.

Knights Hill is a surviving fragment of the Great North Wood that once covered swathes of London in oak trees. The site is classed as a Local Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (Local SINC) and project activities will be a valuable educational resource for local schools and groups. The woodland provides habitat for birds like woodpeckers, blackbirds, robins and wrens, and wild mammals like woodmice and shrews. Tivoli Park is equally important with a fascinating history and natural enviroment.

If you would like to share your memories of the area, are a group or school interested in tailor-made activities or would like to help with the research contact Nature Vibezzz at info.naturevibezzz@gmail.com or phone John on 07984662996.  More information and project updates can be found at the project website: https://knightshillwoodstivoliparkproject.wordpress.com
