Lambeth Council has launched the second instalment of the Your Streets Your Way street design competition. The Council says "Get creative, reimagine your streets and have the chance to win up to £750."
Your Streets Your Way gives those who live, work or travel through the borough, the opportunity to transform one of 10 locations. The competition aims to give the opportunity to create spaces to spend more time, connect with each other or to make it more attractive to explore by walking, wheeling or cycling. The sites are divided into three categories:
- Creative Wayfinding
- Accessible and Playful Footpaths
- Feel Good Spaces
The only chosen location on our patch is:
- Chestnut Road (West Dulwich)
The other locations are:
- Loughborough Road (Loughborough Junction)
- Matrimony Place (Larkhall Rise)
- Bromfelde Walk (Larkhall Rise)
- Russell’s Footpath (Streatham Wells)
- Leithcote Path (Streatham Wells)
- Telegraph Passage (Brixton Hill)
- 297-299 Coldharbour Lane (Angell Town)
- 85 Angell Road (Angell Town)
- St Martin’s pedestrian passage (Stockwell)
Lambeth says Russell’s Footpath and Leithcote Path were chosen based on feedback from the Streatham Wells LTN consultation.
