The government has announced that the whole of London is to move to alert level Tier Two: High. This comes into force at midnight Friday 16 October 2020. The government infographic below sets out clearly what this means; Londoners will not be able to mix between different households indoors - which includes in their homes and inside pubs and restaurants. Londoners should also aim to reduce the number of journeys they make where possible.
The move is supported by the Mayor of London; you can read his views here, including the request for more financial support for businesses and workers and for the additional measure of a short national circuit breaker.
